Georiga chose to wear blackout jerseys against Alabama in 2008. The color turned out to be appropriate as the Bulldogs and their fans were left mourning the outcome. Alabama dominated the first half, cruising to a 31-0 lead at the midway point. Georgia had a strong third quarter and some garbage points late, but the victory was never in doubt. The final score was Alabama 41, Georgia 30. The game was a sign of things to come in the Nick Saban era of Alabama Football.
