There has been much speculation over the last couple of weeks about whether or not Najee Harris would return for his senior season at Alabama. Rumors began to leak that Najee had informed those within the program that he planned to stay.

Charlie Potter of BamaOnline has confirmed today that Harris will indeed return.

Junior running back Najee Harris will pass on the 2020 NFL Draft and return to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for his senior year, a source close to the program confirmed to BamaOnLine. Harris is not expected to make an announcement on social media like his Crimson Tide teammates.

The Antioch, Calif., native has been back in Tuscaloosa since this past weekend.

There has still been no official statement from Harris or anyone within the athletic department. We are told that none is expected.

Until recently, most expected the 2019 season to be the last for Harris in a Crimson Tide uniform. Despite having a very strong finish to the season, his NFL Draft grade reportedly came back lower than expected. He has already been spotted working out in Tuscaloosa and preparing for a great senior year.
