The Tide didn’t have its best day, but the offense put together one final game-winning drive to get the victory. The scoring play, a screen from AJ McCarron to TJ Yeldon will long be remembered as one of the best in Alabama Football history.

The Tide fell to the Texas A&M Aggies the following week by a score of 29-24. The loss would prove to be a rallying point, however. Alabama finished the season with an easy win over Western Carolina, and a 49-0 shutout of Auburn before holding off Georiga by a score of 32-28 to win the SEC Championship.

That victory put Alabama in the National Championship Game against Notre Dame. The Crimson Tide dominated in the Orange Bowl, ultimately winning by a score of 42-14. Watch highlights of that Crimson Classic.
