Former Alabama Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been medically cleared for all football activities. Just four months after a season-ending hip injury at Mississippi State, Tagovailoa has now been given doctor’s approval to throw, drop back, roll out, and run.

A scan of the hip came back with excellent results.

Alabama team physician Dr. Lyle Cain was overjoyed.

“If you had told me four months ago that the scan would look this good, I would have been ecstatic,” Cain said.

Tagovailoa is expected to be a top five pick in April’s NFL Draft. He is expected to begin training in Nashville. A pro day has been scheduled for April 9. An MRI is scheduled for the following day to determine the amount of cartilage growth.
