The University of Alabama will kick off the 2021 Season against the University of Miami in the Chik-Fil-A Kickoff Game. This is the first meeting between the two programs since Alabama dominated the Hurricanes in the Sugar Bowl to win the 1992 National Championship.
This will be the sixth game for the Crimson Tide in Mercedes Benz Stadium since its opening in 2017. Alabama last played in the Chik-Fil-A Kickoff Game in 2019 against Duke, winning by a score of 42-3.
Saturday will mark the beginning of season number fifteen at Alabama for Nick Saban. He is 14-0 in season openers at Alabama.
